CLS by BARBRI and Texas A&M-Texarkana Offer Advanced Legal Research and Writing Course
CLS by BARBRI and Texas A&M University-Texarkana will offer an Advanced Legal Research and Writing Course starting January 9, 2017.
The Advanced Legal Research and Writing Course is a non-credit course, designed to teach advanced and specialized approaches to utilize the legal resources available in a law library, online and elsewhere.
The conceptual differences between computer-assisted legal research and hard-copy research will be taught.
Additionally, students will learn how to formulate WESTLAW search queries and to effectively and efficiently use WESTLAW and other online legal research methods as time-saving devices in legal research and legal writing.
